Law of the Pampas (1939) on Netflix

Plot summary

A prize herd from the Bar 20 Ranch in New Mexico goes to Jose Valdez, a wealthy cattle raiser in Argentina, who insists that foreman Hopalong Cassidy bring it to his ranch on the pampas in person. Hoppy takes his saddle mate Lucky Jenkins along. At the ranch the Valdez household welcomes them, and so does Fernando Ramirez, a friend they make there. Valdez's American son-in-law, Ralph Merritt, is the exception, keeping company with two toughs, Curly and Slim, and with Chiquita, a dance hall girl. Valdez's young grandson, Ernesto, called Tito, also lives at the ranch. Merritt has his own designs on the herd.
