Plot summary
A Hollywood production arrives in Lawrenceton to shoot a movie about Aurora Teagarden, the town librarian and amateur sleuth. The leading lady of the film is found dead in her dressing room, and the shoot becomes a murder case. Aurora enlists the members of her Real Murders Club to help gather clues around the set. Everyone working on the set that day is treated as a suspect, and the film's director is among them. Aurora grows concerned as Aida is drawn to the film's director. Martin Bartell worries about Aurora's safety. Aurora also shares a romantic past with the film's screenwriter.
