Lake Placid 2 (2007) on Netflix

Plot summary

Frank Mills shows Sheriff James Riley the body parts pulled from the lake after his fellow researcher Tillman is lost in Aroostook County, Maine. Riley takes Frank and wildlife officer Emma Warner out on the water, and they find more of the remains. Three friends, Mike, Edie and Sharon, stop to swim while hiking and do not come back. The sheriff questions Sadie Bickerman, an elderly hermit said to have fed crocodiles in the lake, about her missing sister Delores; she refuses to answer and will not let them inside. A poacher, Jack Struthers, and his assistant Ahmad are tipped off by a local and bring their plane down on the lake to kill the crocodiles. Riley's son Scott meets Kerri and her boyfriend Thad in the woods, and Kerri's dog Daisy barks at something moving in the water.
