Plot summary
After their grandfather's death, Brielle, Kelly and Samantha learn he left them the Lake Motel. The old man, whom they never knew, died a grisly death. Their father John urges them not to go. On a college break the sisters drive out anyway, bringing Ben, Tanya, Bill and Amy, who is Bill's girlfriend, to look over the property and decide what to do with it. At the motel an elderly caretaker greets them. The grounds include a lake, and the friends swim there and set up camp by their trailer. A family has taken up residence in the grandfather's cabin, and unkempt men are seen around the place.
