Plot summary
Dot Burton runs with a gang of bank robbers who use her as a decoy. She enters the bank before it opens with a dog her cohorts have provided, keeps the door open, and leaves the guard holding the animal while the robbery goes off. When police interrupt the getaway she faints and calls herself innocent, but the dog will not come to her and the name on its collar is not the one she used. She admits her part in the holdup and is sent to a women's prison. The $40,000 from the robbery she takes from her accomplices beforehand and leaves with her landlady, counting on it as a way out. Ken Phillips, her childhood sweetheart, believes she is innocent.
