Plot summary
A part-time schoolteacher studying Classics at the Sorbonne, Valentine Ezquerra is working toward the Agrégation de Lettres classiques. Her final examinations are three months away. She meets Édouard Jansen, a 28-year-old composer who plays in a jazz rock band, on a ski trip. He comes to the Gare de Lyon after her, and she says yes to a date, thinking one night only, since her studies leave no room for romance.
