Plot summary
Lola is a young West Indian Métis woman. Félix, one of her two lovers, is Jewish, has little money, and earns a living as a bicycle courier. The other, Jamal Saddam Abossolo M'bo, is a law student and the son of affluent African diplomats. Lola is pregnant and cannot say which of them fathered the child. She will not take a paternity test. Each man sets out to show her that he would make the better father, and the two of them meet at her home.
