Plot summary
A group of environmentalists charters a boat to a military island where they believe illegal work is going on. The reporter, her cameraman, an environmentalist's girlfriend and the captain find the base empty and its buildings abandoned. In a deserted house they meet Dr. Susan Richardson, who tells them that the island's other workers, her father among them, are gone. She explains that her team was working on a compound meant to make edible plants grow to enormous size. The military intervened and fed it to komodo dragons and cobras instead. The creatures grew far beyond their normal size, and the visitors are now stranded on an island with them.
