Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Kiss of the Dragon (2001)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Kiss of the Dragon was banned in China because of its violence, and its star Jet Li spoke out about the censorship.
- Jet Li wanted realistic fight scenes and dropped the CGI and wire work made popular by Charlie's Angels and The Matrix; only two scenes needed CGI and just one used wire work.
- Wire work was added to one of the last fights between Jet Li and Cyril Raffaelli to make Raffaelli's kicks readable because he moved too fast for the camera, so director Chris Nahon slowed the scene down.
- When Tchéky Karyo's character shoots a henchman, French prints show a fountain of blood erupting from the back of the man's head, a shot cropped out of most international versions.
