Plot summary
Jinx Roberts flies stunts at a carnival air show with his assistants Blackie and Heathcliff until a disagreement with the owner leaves the three of them out of work. Jinx signs up for the Army Air Corps, and the other two go with him, talking a colonel into taking them on as ground crewmen. At a nightclub before they report, Jinx falls for the singer Linda Joyce, who soon takes a job as a USO hostess at the academy where her brother Jimmy is a cadet. Craig Morrison, Jinx's co-pilot on a commercial aircraft years before, is his instructor there, and the two still carry their old resentment. Blackie and Heathcliff become attached to twin hostesses.
