Plot summary
On an assembly line, the android Kara is put together piece by piece. The Operator assembling her asks her to speak English, German and French and to sing in Japanese. Kara expresses emotion while she is tested, and a blue robotic heart beats inside her, a sign of how nervous she is. She becomes self conscious as the assembly goes on.
