Plot summary
Jim is a lonely sixteen-year-old in a small Welsh town where residents talk to themselves. Most of his days are with his dog, and the dog's death leaves him more isolated. Then Dean, a confident American teenager, moves in next door and catches his attention. With Dean around, Jim is given a chance to increase his popularity: if a deal is made between the two, Jim can become the cool kid of the town.
