Plot summary
Duke Diver once defended the heads of criminal organizations. He now runs Villa Capri, a resort in Palm Springs, California. Leo, a former FBI agent, arrives, takes the parking space Duke keeps for himself and wins at poker and at every other contest. The women at the resort also warm to Leo, which unsettles Duke. Both men take an interest in Suzie Quinces, the regional director there to review the chain's expenses. When Duke's life is put in danger, he and Leo have to set aside their rivalry.
