Plot summary
Isla Nublar has been abandoned since the Jurassic World theme park closed, and the island's volcano is coming to life. Claire Dearing, the park's former operations manager, now runs the Dinosaur Protection Group, and she wants the remaining dinosaurs moved off the island. When the government declines to fund a rescue, Benjamin Lockwood, once a partner of John Hammond, offers to take the animals to a sanctuary island. His aide Eli Mills wants Claire to bring in Owen Grady, who used to train raptors, because the group needs to track down Blue, the last Velociraptor. Claire, Owen, paleo-veterinarian Zia Rodriguez and IT expert Franklin Webb fly to the island, where a camp run by hunter Ken Wheatley is already set up.
