Plot summary
Seaside is a town in England, and it is an anarchic place where the puppeteers Judy and Punch live. They are trying to bring their marionette act in front of audiences again, and the two of them have a baby daughter. Judy's puppetry wins over the crowd, while Punch drinks. Two elderly servants, Scaramouche and Maude, raised Judy from childhood.
