Plot summary
Joy Edwards writes cookbooks about a perfect home life and family in a country house she does not have. A network plans to film a Christmas dinner at that house, so Joy has to make the invention hold up for the cameras. She asks Max, her best friend, to pose as her husband. Both of them find something real in the pretense.
