Plot summary
The Creeper is near the end of its twenty-three-day feeding cycle when it abducts Billy Taggart while the boy's father Jack Sr., his brother Jack Jr. and the dog Mac watch. The next day a high school sports team and its cheerleaders are traveling home from a championship when a hand-made shuriken bursts a tire; a second tire blows and the bus is left standing on a country road in Poho County. A cheerleader, Minxie Hayes, has a vision of two figures who warn her about the creature, and she tells the other students. The Creeper carries off the driver and two coaches. After hearing police reports, the Taggarts set out to hunt it and reach the bus by radio.
