Plot summary
Frank is an architect in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Lenore Harker leaves college to have their baby. Dr. Orbinson finds that the baby has doubled in size within a month, and his surgical team delivers him by cesarean section. Lenore and the newborn are found on the operating table in a room covered in blood, and she has no memory of what happened. After the police question her, she wants to leave and take her son home, and a psychologist is arranged to help her recover the memory of the delivery. Once home, the baby, Daniel, bites Lenore while she feeds him.
