Plot summary
A gang calling itself the Ronin Gang attacks an armored truck at a traffic junction. The explosions and gunfire kill all but one of the security guards and several civilians, and responding officers suffer serious casualties. Six months on, the crew reappears in Hong Kong and leaves policemen injured at a spot check. A woman killed in the attack was CID detective Chan Chun's fiancée, and the squad caught at the check was led by Trainee Inspector Carson Fong Yik-wai, so both vow revenge. Rookie officer Wai King-ho's older brother, Wai King-tat, a policeman, has been missing a long time, and Wai is suspended over the connection. Chan and Fong press him for his brother's whereabouts.
