Plot summary
Tim Callahan has a question for his partner, private investigator Donald Strachey. A youth center in Albany has been given a large anonymous donation, and Tim wants to know who provided the money. Donald takes the case and goes looking for the giver. What begins as a search for a name turns into one of the hardest cases of his career, and the work brings him into contact with deceit and danger.
