Plot summary
Taryn is nineteen and pregnant when she leaves Northern Ireland, and she finds refuge in Baltimore with her aunt Kim and her uncle Bill. Kim and Bill are separating, and they want the end of their marriage to go smoothly for their daughter Abby, who has just finished her first year of college and is home again. Taryn had run into trouble in Ocean City, Maryland, before she reached the house, and she asks them for somewhere to stay.
