Plot summary
Roy Earle is an aging bank robber who wants one last job before he retires. Big Mac, a crime boss, has him released from prison, and Earle agrees to plan the holdup of a resort hotel. Working with him are the hotheaded Babe Kossuck, the easy-going Red Hattery and Louis Mendoza, who is placed inside the hotel. Marie Garson, a dance-hall girl Babe has recently met, comes along. She falls for Earle, but his attention goes to Velma Goodhue, the granddaughter of the farmer Pa Goodhue, who needs an operation.

- Nick Adams and Dennis Hopper share no scenes in I Died a Thousand Times, but this film and Rebel Without a Cause, both 1955 releases, are the only films in which the two bit players, just starting their careers, appeared together.
