Plot summary
Stiff-person syndrome is the diagnosis Céline Dion addresses in the documentary, which is a behind-the-scenes account of her struggle with a life-altering illness. The Canadian singer gives the filmmakers access to her personal and her professional life. Music runs through it, since the songs that have guided her life are part of the telling, and archival footage appears as well. A soundtrack released with the documentary gathers thirteen songs from her catalog and seven pieces of score written for it. The film also returns to her career as a singer, and for Dion it works as a letter to the fans who have followed her.
