Plot summary
Tara, Em and Skye are sixteen and best friends, and they fly to Crete for a holiday in the resort town of Malia, planning to drink, dance and hook up. Em starts college in the autumn, while Tara and Skye are less certain what comes next. Tara has never had sex, and the trip's talk of it leaves her feeling the pressure. Badger, a guest on the balcony next door, speaks to Tara, and he and his roommate Paddy ask her group to spend a night out with theirs. Skye teases Tara about her inexperience and pushes her toward Paddy, and Em is interested in Badger's friend Paige.
