Plot summary
Waiter Arjun works at Mumbai's Taj Mahal Palace Hotel under head chef Hemant Oberoi. Among the guests are Zahra Kashani, a British-Iranian heiress, her American husband David, their infant son Cameron and his nanny Sally, and Vasili, a former special forces operative. On the night of November 26, 2008, terrorists from the Lashkar-e-Taiba organization, commanded by a man called the Bull, strike twelve locations across the city, the hotel among them. The city's police lack the training and equipment for an attack of this kind and must wait for reinforcements from New Delhi.
