Plot summary
Sally Jackson works the window at Burger-Matic, and Henry Lever stops there to tell her that his wife Beatrice has found out about the two of them. Sally is pregnant. Driving home, Henry is chased by a helicopter flown by Angus Montier and dies of a heart attack; Angus's brother Dorian is in the cockpit. Beatrice had pushed her sons to frighten Henry, and she wants revenge on Sally. The brothers fear that the crew at the drive-through overheard their radio chatter, and they work out that Burger-Matic was the only place close enough to share the frequency. Angus pushes Dorian to take a job there. Dorian, working beside Sally, gives her a model helicopter and mentions that he and Angus are National Guard reservists who fly helicopters.
