Plot summary
Loretta Johnson is a bookish, ambitious event planner, and an opportunity she cannot refuse sends her back to her rural hometown. She accepts it by posing as her boss, so the town deals with her employer rather than with her. The job is a spring retreat, and she carries it out with help from her family and from Wayne Hendricks, the man she left behind. Being back in the place she came from leaves her questioning where she truly belongs.
