Plot summary
Henry, a homeless drifter, arrives in a small town and finds work delivering and cleaning portable toilets. Two of the company's employees, Kai and Cricket, take pity on him and offer him a room in their house, where Kai and Cricket's teenage niece, Louisa, also lives. Henry learns that Kai earns extra money setting fires for hire in phony insurance schemes for their boss, Rooter, and agrees to help him. On one of their first jobs, the two men find squatters inside a building marked for fire, and Henry shows Kai his own work: killing. Kai, who has never killed anyone, joins him.
