Plot summary

Margot Bentley is a filmmaker who investigates the paranormal. She travels to a remote manor in Rockland County with her girlfriend Rebecca Vickers and her brother Chase Bentley. The three record their inquiry into the Carmichael family killings, unsolved since the eighties. They look into the disappearance of Arthur Carmichael, the family patriarch, and his son Patrick, the two leading suspects. Margot's interest in the paranormal began at a carnival, when a man tried to abduct her as a child. The manor holds a locked storage room with the family's belongings, among them three clown mannequins.
