Plot summary
Michael and Rae are driving through the Southwest with $15,000 set aside for a home. Rae finds out that Michael spent the money on a vintage Studebaker, so she leaves him at a convenience store and hitches a ride toward the airport. There a young kid cons Michael out of the car keys. Stranded, Michael is inside the store when a robbery goes wrong, and the local vigilantes who serve as police arrive prepared for a gunfight. He appeals to Rodrigo, the gunman holding the place, to release him and the other hostages, and works on a way to reach the airport before Rae's flight leaves.
