Plot summary
Kiki Mercer runs a food truck and has always shown her love for the people around her through cooking. Her biggest job yet is catering the wedding of her sister Jenna, which calls for appetizers and a sit-down meal. Kiki is used to working alone, and the preparations bring one setback after another. The groom's best man, Clay Rutherford, owns and runs the kitchen of a prestigious restaurant in the city, and his remarks about her catering sting. Clay admires her determination and does not want her to spend the wedding day only as the caterer. Knowing her makes him think back to the years when he cooked for himself rather than for a business. Jenna, meanwhile, misses her mother and wonders about the father who left them.
