Plot summary
The final day of classes at Riverside High brings a web of problems. Principal Harold Lewis must discipline English teacher William Pratt, whose professional frustrations have overtaken him. Guidance counselor Vanessa Jones tries to reach Wex Presley, whose drug dealing is damaging her students. Lewis's daughter Karen struggles with her boyfriend Tommy Bruno. Dara McDermott, an outcast, craves drugs. Pregnant Robin Walters and her boyfriend Kevin Rhodes disagree about what her future holds. Ricky Herman, a bully, begins to grasp what his behavior costs. Unaware of all this, two students who have endured constant bullying have made a suicide pact. Before they end their own lives, they mean to cause chaos and murder among their classmates.
