Plot summary
Seven friends, Seth, Tiffany, Lizzie, Doc, Nash, Ava and Liam, pull off for gas and directions on their way to a party. Seth chooses a shortcut along back roads, and the car rolls over an open bear trap that wrecks a wheel. A young tow truck driver named Candy comes upon them and takes them to Wormwood Ridge, a town too small to appear on a map. Candy leaves the car with her father, Pa Rusk, whose garage and junkyard handle the repairs.
