Megumi, Hime, Yuko, and Iona are finishing a puppet show at a nursery when one of the dolls, a ballerina named Tsumugi, begins to speak. She asks the girls to rescue her homeland, the Doll Kingdom, which she says is under attack. They follow her there, to a kingdom where music and dance fill the days and where Prince Zeke rules, and the girls are welcomed at the castle with a party. Then the fighting starts: a stranger named Black Fang sends his Saiarks against the land, and he plans to take it for himself. When a Saiark strikes, the four girls transform into the Pretty Cures and fight back.
