Plot summary

Eindoak Town grew up around a castle known as the Sword of the Vale, and its harvest festival brings a Pokémon tournament that Ash enters. Victini, a Mythical Pokémon, helps him win, and the town's history explains why: the castle was built to guard the Kingdom of the Vale, where Victini and the king together kept the people safe. That kingdom is gone, remembered only through relics and the ancient Pokémon that remain. Damon, who traces his line to the People of the Vale, wants the kingdom restored. With his Reuniclus beside him and the Legendary Pokémon Reshiram pledged to his search for truth, he intends to trap Victini and take its power, a plan that puts every resident of Eindoak in danger.
