Gut (2012) on Netflix

Plot summary

Tom is a family man whose marriage has lost its spark and whose job leaves him empty. He performs the routines of his days without feeling them, drifting away from the people around him. His childhood friend Dan, who still clings to the past, says he has the answer: a video Tom must see for himself. What Dan shows him unsettles Tom and fills his mind with disturbing images, binding the two friends to an ugly secret. What he watched does not stay on the screen; it enters his daily life. Tom tries to forget, but guilt and fear take hold of him.
