Plot summary
Thor defeats Loki in battle, and Odin judges him for it. Loki escapes by trickery and reaches Earth, where he means to conquer mankind and raise a larger army for domination across the Nine Realms. Enraged by the devastation of his home, Thor sets out after him. The pursuit leaves Thor defenseless: he wakes on Earth with no hammer and no memory of who he is. Alone and disoriented, he is hunted by Loki's followers, who are determined to stop him. A female human companion takes his side, and they head north in search of the mythical weapon he has lost.
