Julian Bane

Julian Bane is an actor, writer, and director who was born in Brazil and moved to the United States when he was 11. Drawing superheroes and shooting homemade movies with a Super 8 camera, miniature sets, and props were his earliest creative outlets, and the leads of Doctor Who and Star Trek later drew him toward acting. After three years in the Air Force, he returned to the arts and settled in Los Angeles. His stage work included The Tempest, Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, Wuthering Heights, and the role of The Traveler in Hollywood's first staging of H. G. Wells's The Time Machine. He also appeared in television shows, music videos, documentaries, and films, and lent his voice to audio roles such as Leviathan in Darker Projects: The Byron Chronicles, Brahms in Starship Excelsior, and the Doctor in Doctor Who Legacy. He played the lead in the fan web series Doctor Who alternate Empire on YouTube.
