Plot summary
Stacey and Mark have just married and are in love. They make their home on his farm in South Africa, where Thandi, an orphan in her teens, works as their maid. Mark dies in a car accident. Stacey is a widow now, and she misses him. She chooses to keep living on the farm with Thandi rather than leave the place behind her. Doc, a doctor who is also a friend, finds out that she is expecting a baby.
