Plot summary
The Larusso family moves from Brooklyn to Staten Island in the 1980s. Father Joe is part of organized crime, and sisters Rose and Connie secretly hear him argue about illegal goods kept in the garage. Young Rose realizes what her father is becoming and wants to break free from the path set for her. Her wish puts her at odds with her mother Francine, her sister Connie, and her aunt Christine.
