Plot summary
Edward is a gay novelist who looks after his elderly mother. His writing career is close to success. Pressure to go on a book tour in the United States is building, and his friends choose that moment to leave for an impromptu Pride holiday in Spain. They leave their mothers behind in his care. Four women, all eccentric, combative and unlike one another, are now in his house for a chaotic weekend, and he has to look after them alongside his career.
