Plot summary
Marty is twelve years old and does well at school, though the kids there pick on him. At home he takes his older brother Steve's bowling ball bag and finds a human head inside. Steve keeps the bag in his closet, and each week Marty finds another head in it. Most belong to black women. Marty tells nobody and spends his time with horror movies and comic books, and with his best friend David. Marcus, a classmate, bullies him, and Marty will not fight back.
