Plot summary
Sarah White has lived six years alone in a farmhouse, believing that an apocalyptic event took her family and everyone else, and she fills the hours with cleaning, the piano and a diary. Her sister Lily White turns up at the door bleeding from the abdomen and refuses any help. A noise in the night sends Sarah outside with a gun. In the morning a man called Ryan approaches, holding a sketch of Sarah he drew years ago, when she was in a city with her father, and says he has been searching for her. He insists the world never ended and that other people and cities remain. Lily wants him gone.
