Plot summary
Five Golden Dragons is a syndicate trafficking gold out of Hong Kong. Its members have agreed to sell the enterprise to the Mafia for fifty million dollars and then disband, but none of them trusts the others to hand over an honest share. Bob Mitchell, an American visitor to the city, wanders into their negotiations with local mobsters, and the killer Gert turns his attention to him and to the sisters Ingrid and Margret. Commissioner Sanders and Inspector Chiao of the Royal Hong Kong Police investigate the syndicate, and Mitchell follows a lead to The Blue World, a nightclub managed by Peterson where the singer Magda performs.
