Plot summary
Ted Turner is a Black minister living in a secluded house with his family. Jessie Lee Kane, a hate-fueled racist, escapes from jail along with Chino and Ling. The three criminals hide out in the Turner home and take the family hostage. Threats and harsh epithets pass between the intruders and the minister. Kane's group forces the family to fight for their lives.

- Fight for Your Life was denied a British cinema release in 1981; after a brief video release the following year it was outlawed as a video nasty. It is the only video nasty to have been listed because of language, namely the racism of William Sanderson's character.
- The original film negative of Fight for Your Life, stored by the film rights holder in a New Jersey basement, was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
