Plot summary

Three sets of estranged relatives meet again in three countries. In a snowy American town, Jeff and Emily drive to a reunion with their reclusive father, bringing a box of groceries; their mother has died, and Emily cannot see how he manages without social security, while he forgets about Jeff's recent divorce. In Dublin, an elderly writer holds her annual tea with her daughters Timothea and Lilith, the one day a year they see each other; Timothea's car breaks down on the way, and Lilith asks her friend Jeanette to pose as an Uber driver. In Paris, Skye and Billy return to their late parents' apartment after the couple died in a plane crash in the Azores, and Billy shows Skye childhood drawings and photographs.
