Fast Food Fast Women (2000) on Netflix

Plot summary

Bella waits tables at a Manhattan café and is closing in on her thirty-fifth birthday, years into an affair that is going nowhere. Her mother takes a hand and arranges an introduction to Bruno, who drives a cab and writes novels, and whose ex-wife has just given him custody of their two children. Over at the café, Paul, a retired widower, answers a personal ad placed by a widow of sixty. Around these two possible pairs gather the regulars, among them one of Paul's old friends and a stripper with an interest in Jung. All of them are sorting out how a relationship gets started now, what to do when someone disappoints them, and when the truth should be told.
