Plot summary
Brooks buys into a family candy shop, taking the share his best friend from high school is selling. The seller's sister is Keely, and she is not pleased. She has been hurt before and treats change as an enemy, so the new co-owner is unwelcome. Brooks keeps his own guard up too, and his past mirrors hers. The two of them have to find common ground.
