Plot summary
Seven short sequences, each one loosely drawn from a 1969 book about sex, take up a question about human sexuality. A court jester slips the Queen a love potion. Doctor Ross, a physician, grows attached to the sheep of an Armenian patient. Gina can reach orgasm only in public. Sam Musgrave, a middle-aged married man, tries on women's clothes. In a parody of a television panel game, panelists try to guess a contestant's perversion. Victor, a sex researcher, and Helen Lacey, a journalist, call on Doctor Bernardo, who once worked with Masters and Johnson and now runs a laboratory with an assistant named Igor. In the last sequence, a control center in a man's brain runs his encounter with a woman like a space mission.
