Sidney Miller
Biography
Sidney Miller was an American actor, director and songwriter who started in Hollywood as a juvenile performer and later built a long career behind the camera. Born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, he landed his first credited role as a teenager in the Shirley Temple short Merrily Yours, and by the 1930s was playing comic supporting parts, including the would-be wrestling announcer Mo Kahn in Boys Town (1938). He moved into radio and then television, co-starring with Donald O'Connor in The Donald O'Connor Show and directing episodes of series such as Get Smart, Bewitched and My Mother the Car. He returned to character roles in films like Yours, Mine and Ours (1968) and Which Way to the Front? (1970), and from 1983 to 1985 voiced Dungeon Master in the animated Dungeons & Dragons. He died in 2004.
